Aldehyde C-16 is Imported and Packaged by Phoenix Aromas

Aldehyde C-16 is a delightfully fragrant liquid with a sweet, fruity, strawberry like scent. Also known as strawberry aldehyde or Ethyl Methyl Phenyl Glycidate, it is not a true aldehyde. Soluble in most fixed oils and propylene glycol. This ingredient is insoluble, or practically insoluble, in glycerin.  

Aldehyde C-16 finds use as an artificial flavor in baked goods, candies, and ice cream. It is also an integral ingredient in cosmetic and fragrance applications. It plays a role in fragrance & flavoring of perfumes, creams, lotions, lipstick, candles, and much more.

Aldehyde C-16 is synthetically produced without the use of genetically modified organisms. This product meets Food Chemical Codex requirements and is Kosher certified.

Aldehyde C-16 is a colorless to pale yellow liquid with a strong, fruity, strawberry-like odor.
