Ingredi Deionized Water
Deionized water is high purity water that has almost all ionized minerals and salts (both organic and inorganic) removed through the process of ion exchange. Additionally, our Deionized Water is then run through a UV light system to kill any existing bacteria to achieve ultra pure water quality.
In the deionization process, filters operate by exchanging positive hydrogen and negative hydroxyl molecules for the positive and negative contaminant molecules in the water. Positive chemicals like sodium, calcium, iron, and copper change places with the hydrogen molecules, and negative chemicals like iodine, chloride and sulfate change places with the hydroxyl molecules.
These Deionized High Purity Waters are used in a wide variety of applications that require a completely neutral water that will not effect the final product as well as being free of any and all contaminates.
