NOX-RUST 7703-W
NOX-RUST 7703-W is a translucent, wax based rustproofing compound that goes on as a thin gel with a low viscosity. This allows for film builds on vertical surfaces and for seam penetrations into areas with metal-to-metal overlap. The cured film is wax-like and will repel water, self-heal and remain flexible at low temperatures. Dry time is approximately 4 hours to the touch and overnight for full cure depending on environmental conditions. The recommended film thickness for NOX-RUST 7703-W is 6 mils wet resulting in a 2 mil dry film.
NOX-RUST 7703-W is the perfect corrosion preventative coating for vehicle chassis parts. It is especially desired in applications that are color painted and you don't want cover the color such as door jams and hinges, fire walls and wheel wells.
NOX-RUST 7703-W passes Honda's test method on waxes and is specified for use with Ford Technical Service Bulletin 15S14 and 14S22
