Power Service Bio Kleen Diesel Fuel Biocide kills microbes (algae, bacteria and fungi) that can grow in dispersed and free water associated with diesel fuels and prevents fuel-filter plugging. Bio Kleen also helps prevent fuel system failures, and is effective as a "quick-kill" biocide and for long-term diesel fuel maintenance.
Bio Kleen protects fuel system components against organic acids created by microbial growth and prevents fuel tank corrosion along with Improving fuel performance and Reducing engine maintenance costs. This special formula burns similarly to diesel fuel (>106,000 BTU/Gal)and Effective in all diesel fuels, including ULSD and biodiesel.

When to Use a Biocide:
- Regularly inspect bulk-storage tanks for any signs of contamination.
- Watch for dark, slimy growth, especially where the diesel fuel meets the water layer or within the fuel itself.
- Be alert for a “rotten egg” odor, which can indicate microbial activity.
- Check for slime on the interior walls of tanks and in the sump area; examine any water drawn from the sump for slimy debris.
- Microbial/Algal growth can multiply quickly, forming long strings, mats, or globules.
These are the most common signs of contamination and require immediate treatment.
