Sunoco Supreme 112 Octane, Leaded Racing Fuel is designed for competition engines operating over 7000 RPM.

This fuel is sanctioned by: NHRA, Trans Am Racing , American Flat Track, Florida Outlaws Racing Series, National Champion Racing Association, Midwest Latem Model Racing Association

Sunoco Supreme has a high Motor Octane rating of 109 and a fast burn speed with a specific gravity of 0.715. It is designed for compression ratios up to about 15:1 in small block V8 race engines and can withstand higher compression ratios in smaller or more efficient combustion chambers.  Supreme’s fast burn speed also makes it a popular choice for 2-stroke race engines.

Sunoco Supreme features a comprehensive additive package to enhance shelf life by improving storage stability and minimizing oxidation.  It should be stored in opaque, tightly sealed containers and kept where temperatures are stable.  Properly stored, the shelf life of Supreme is in excess of 2 years.

SUNOCO TECH CORNER

Supreme is for when people are pushing things a little bit further,” Sunoco's Santner says of Sunoco’s 112-octane leaded race fuel. “Supreme is a little lighter and has less aromatic hydrocarbons, so it burns a little quicker.” How can you tell a fuel’s weight? Check out its specific gravity. Faster burning and increased octane make it better suited to a more aggressive setup–figure engine speeds north of 7000 rpm, compression ratios up to about 15:1, or piston bores past 4 inches.

Leaded fuels are not compatible with catalytic converters and oxygen sensors. Unleaded fuels will be limited to 104 octane.
