TOTAL Hydransafe WG ISO VG 46 Fire-Resistant, Synthetic Water-Glycol Based,  Anti-Wear Hydraulic Fluid US Steel 171 Approved for Heavy-Duty Industrial Applications

TOTAL Hydransafe WG is a high performing, synthetic water-polymer based, fire-resistant hydraulic fluid with considerable fire resistance and anti-wear properties with an ideal temperature range from -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C)
Formulated to provide long equipment life and supply high operating reliability to a multitude of hydraulic components.

TOTAL Hydransafe WG is approved for international specifications such as the US Steel 171 specification which refers to a standard for hydraulic fluids used in heavy-duty industrial applications designed to provide optimal performance in high-pressure and high-temperature environments with benefits including:

  • Powerful fire resistance properties due to high water content.
  • Excellent anti-wear protection and longer service life for hydraulic components.
  • Incredible anticorrosion, anti-foaming properties, and resistance to hydrolysis and oxidation. 
  • Good air release properties and filterability.
  • Dyed a noticibely red color for easy identification.

TOTAL Hydransafe WG is highly recommended in hydraulic applications used near fire sources or within locations comprising a fire risk such as regulating furnaces, continuous casting units, or heat treat ovens in quenching operations and applications.
